Reliable connectivity is the most important feature of
mission-critical web applications. Leepfrog utilizes redundant T3
connections to major backbone providers -- over 100Mb/s of total
capacity. That's equivalent to 90 T1 lines. The T3s are terminated into
two different providers with completely independent networks, ensuring
that even a major Internet backbone outage still lets you get your data
out. Locally, both redundant Qwest fiber optic connections and a
privately managed fiber plant serve Leepfrog's networks. These
connections ensure that no rogue backhoe can take down our network, and
we can even route around problems with the local phone company.
Leepfrog now has even more redundency with a wireless connection to a
major provider.
