Looking Forward to Ten More Years
2005 Marks Milestone for Leepfrog
June 8, 2005
On Wednesday, June 21, 1995 Leepfrog
Technologies officially opened for business and began serving the Iowa City
area with web software development when the World Wide Web was barely a
household phrase. Ten years later the
internet is an indispensable tool for commerce and personal use, and Leepfrog
Technologies has grown to serve an international client list.
“One of our first projects was to develop a database and
email delivery system for NationJob, a national job search
site,” said Lee Brintle, President and founder of Leepfrog Technologies. “Since then, NationJob has served over 2 million job-seekers and 20,000 employers, and
receives up to 10 million hits per month.”
Leepfrog Technologies now provides internet hosting, ethical
email delivery, and consulting services, as well as the original software
applications PageLeaf (content management system) and InstantRapport (managed
instant messenger). They serve the
higher education, government, health care and private sectors, including ACT,
Pearson, and Noel-Levitz in the Iowa City area.
In celebration of the tenth anniversary of their
incorporation, Leepfrog Technologies is sponsoring a performance of The
Taming of the Shrew at the Riverside Theatre Shakespeare Festival on Saturday, June 25.
“We’re very proud to support this local gem,” states
Brintle. “A picnic and a performance in
the park just seemed like a perfect way to celebrate with our employees and
clients.”
"On this special day for our company, we also want to express our gratitude to all of our clients, partners, and staff
members for their continuing support as partners in our growth," said
Brintle. "We are convinced the next ten years will be even more exciting
than that last."
