University of Monterrey implements PageLeaf
December 1, 2003
To better manage content on their website,
the University of Monterrey has implemented PageLeaf, Leepfrog's
content management system. Though colleges and universities
throughout the United States have used PageLeaf for the past four
years, this purchase officially makes PageLeaf an internationally
used content management system, and places Iowa City's Leepfrog
Technologies on the International stage for the first time.
Through PageLeaf, the University of
Monterrey's website is taking on a stronger marketing role.
According to the Stanford University Web Credibility Study, five of the most important factors to
maintaining a credible website are: Update website content
regularly; Avoid errors; Show that there is a real organization
behind your website; Make sure your site is easy to use; Give your
site a professional design.
The PageLeaf content management
system is built to meet these criteria for web credibility. It
attempts to make content easy for non-technical people to manage,
so that website content can be updated regularly. It contains spell
checking and page review capabilities to weed out errors. It gives
the responsibility of site organization to more experienced web
users, making sure that content is laid out in logical and
easy-to-find locations. And it streams content into a set of
consistently branded pages in order to give the site a more
professional look.
