With high-speed links and redundant connections to different

solid hosting in mind. We keep hosting options open, security locked down and support
plentiful. Hosting is an important part of our 100% Internet solution.
That is why we recommend hosting your Leepfrog software through
Leepfrog's servers. This one-stop approach greatly improves
problem-response time. If something should go wrong with any part of
your system, we can repair it before it has an impact on your mission
critical applications. Leepfrog has several typical types of hosting options,
depending on your performance specifications, your budget, and the
amount of control you require over your web server. For larger
applications, or applications with high availability requirements,
Leepfrog can help design a multiple-machine customized solution. Shared Hosting
You share a Windows or Unix web server with other clients who select
the shared hosting option. You do not need to purchase any hardware,
and you have access to a wide array of pre-installed software packages,
including ColdFusion and ASP, without any additional cost. Included in
your package is a managed data source on our shared SQL Server,
firewalled away from the rest of the Internet. Dedicated Web Server
When your own applications require more resources or wider access
than provided under our shared hosting agreement you can purchase your
own web server hardware (please contact us for recommendations) and
other software packages, and the machine is co-located at our facility.
We manage the basic operating system, web server, and scripting
language server, perform regular backups and operating system patches,
and will perform the labor to maintain your hardware on-site. This package does not include managed database
services; if you would like a managed SQL environment, you should also
purchase either the Shared Host environment described above or the Dedicated Database Server described below. Dedicated Database Server
When you have performance or security needs that are not met by
Leepfrog's SQL Server environment, you can co-locate your own database
server at Leepfrog's facility. Similar to the dedicated web server
option, Leepfrog will also manage your database resources, including
configuring and maintaining your Microsoft SQL Server 2000 data
resources. You must purchase your own license of SQL Server 2000 for
installation on your machine. Leepfrog will set up and configure both
your machine and your database environment. Note: If you intend to manage your own SQL Server, you should purchase the Dedicated Web Server
package and install SQL Server yourself on the machine. The price
difference between the two packages primarily reflects the additional
cost in maintaining your SQL environment. Offsite Disaster Recovery
Leepfrog also manages a "warm" off-site disaster recovery facility,
providing a "within hours" recovery environment for mitigating the
effects of total loss of the hosting center. The disaster recovery
center has its own network connectivity, and is geographically
separated from the primary data center. Typically, a customer may place
a feature-limited version of their website on their disaster recovery
machine -- combining their database and multiple web services into a
single contingency machine. As with the dedicated server options, you are responsible for purchasing your own hardware and software packages for the disaster recovery machine.
